Online Math Support

During interviews, a few parents asked me if there was anything they could use to support their child at home. Here are two useful resources.

This is the Nelson Education website where you can do sample questions using 'Try it Out' or follow a 'WebQuest'.

 You can also try Math Frog, which  is created and maintained by Professors and students from the University of Waterloo. All of the content is Canadian Curriculum based and is updated and maintained frequently.

2D Geometry

We have completed our patterning unit and have begun looking at 2D geometry. Today I sent homework home involving symmetry. It is due on Thursday, November 13.
